About Dr Randy Walker
Dr. Walker was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
He first completed a B.Sc. with a physiology major at the University of Saskatchewan (U of S), earning the three-year medal at convocation for top standing in his graduating class. He subsequently entered medical school at the U of S and graduated with great distinction.
He went on to complete his residency in ophthalmology, also at the U of S, where he scored in the top percentile amongst residents in North America. He moved out to Abbotsford upon completion of residency and started Mayfair Ophthalmology, where he loves working with his staff and patients to provide the highest quality eye care.
Outside of work Dr. Walker is a nature lover and amateur wildlife photographer. He is also an avid sports fan (particularly the Saskatchewan Roughriders), and he plays in a recreational hockey league. Most of all he enjoys his time with his wife and daughters.
